Well, I think this might actually be the first build I'm posting. I'm unsure of the effectiveness of this build but... well. In my head it looks ok? Haha.

Retal:: 4k Expertise -- Used for Lord of the Serfs.
Attack:: 2.0
------------> Useful for Master Stance as well.
Survival Techniques:: 1.0
Weapon Knowledge:: 1.0

Shot:: 1.0
------------> Useful for 13 Snipe

Destruction Magic:: 10.0
------------> Your main stuff.
Magic Control:: 7.0

Optional:
Rush:: 1.0

For this build, your stat allocation would be entirely into Mag and Luck. Of course, Mag is the main stat.
I'm not entirely sure on the equipments needed for this build, because I do not know much about the equipments in game yet.

Level Requirement:
[[With 1.0 Rush]]:: 60? Demolition Dash would be maxed
[[Without 1.0 Rush]]:: 50?

The major drawback to this build - Mana regen is lowered due to Master's Stance and 13 Snipe. I'm unsure how much it would be diminished. You would probably need limit break gear. You would also have lower MP than a normal mage build, probably.

I'm sure variations can be made to put on enhancement and the like, although it might deteriorate the amount of crits you can get.

Mage doesn't require critical hits. your insane modifiers will be more than enough to well... kill stuff.

Just buy insane cooldown and general dmg gear and you will be fine. You won't even have to work on expensive tarots.

Never said that mage class required critical hits.

I just thought it might be an interesting build to use, even if it is not necessary.

I already know mages are powerful with their modifiers and such. But many people use the same builds, and this is now here for anyone who wants to use something odd.

I think this would be a fun build to watch as it matures.

I'd suggest Riot set, or at least pieces of it, to boost crits.

I'll come back later with more gear suggestions.

I honestly have no critique to offer on the build itself. It's a solid skeleton build, and as you said, later on I'd think about incorporating maybe Enhancement. Some alteration may need to take place for that to happen though.

It just wont work when you sacrifice speed for the sake of seeing "Critical" above your numbers.
